7-23-13 fdl water well update

Construction of a new water well on Fond du lac’s north side is moving forward.  Public Works director Jordan Skiff says the city has an accepted offer to purchase the property in the area of Arndt Street and North Park Avenue east of the Boyle home.  Skiff says construction would begin this year with the well pumping water late next year.  Skiff says the new well is necessary to increase the city’s drinking water capacity.
