7-27-13 st marys springs to apply for expanded school voucher program

Fond du Lac’s  St. Mary’s Springs Academy has announced that they will apply to participate in the expanded private school voucher program.  Director of Enrollment Emily Salm says the decision to apply was made after reviewing all aspects of the program.  "We're thrilled to be able to give parents the opportunity to provide their children with a Catholic education that maybe they've never been able to consider before,"  Salm told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program.  Salm says in order to become a choice school, St. Marys Springs must process as many applications from eligible families as possible.  All applications must be submitted between August 1^st and August 9^th. 

An informational session will be held starting at 6:30pm on Tuesday July 30^th at the Holy Family Church Parish Hall.  The Vice President of School Choice Wisconsin, Terry Brown, will be on hand to explain the program and answer questions.
