7-13-13 ripon college student killed in traffic accident in kansas

A Ripon College student died following a two-vehicle accident in Kansas early last week.  Authorities say on July 11^th Taylor Ziebol was killed when she crossed the center line of a highway near Dodge City, Kansas striking a semi.  Ziebol was from Burnsville, Minnesota and played on the Ripon College soccer team.  Ripon College President Zach Messitte said Ziebol "was an exceptional student who made the dean’s list with an academic interest in biology and education."   She would have been a sophomore this fall.  Mesitte says Ziebol and her siblings were in Kansas en route to Texas when the accident occurred.
