7-13-13 bicycle collision on hwy 151 bypass trail

Two Fond du lac bicyclists were seriously injured when they collided head on on the Highway 151 Bypass bike trail.  Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says the accident happened shortly before 9pm Thursday on the bike trail between DuCharme Parkway and Johnson Street.  "Two bicyclists going in opposite directions probably at a pretty good clip, there were some blind S turns in the area where they were and they came on head-on,"  O'Leary told WFDL news.  Both men were transported to the hospital for treatment of head injuries.   They were both were wearing helmets.
