7-11-13 fdl animal shelter manager says rescued puppies had "about a half hour to live"

The Fond du lac Animal Shelter manager says ten puppies removed from a Fond du lac home are lucky to be alive.  Renee Webb says the puppies were found in a tarp covered crate in the backyard of an 8th Street home.  Animal neglect charges have been referred to the District Attorney against
a 32 year old Fond du lac woman.  Webb says the puppies are continuing to recover at the animal shelter.  "A neighbor had come into the shelter...they had been checking on the puppies since about 8am and it got to be the afternoon and they got very scared for the welfare of the puppies,"  Webb told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program.  Webb says all of the puppies probably would have died in another half hour if they hadn’t been rescued.
