Fond du Lac Republican state representative Jeremy
Thiesfeldt says he’s confident
Republicans will be successful in November. Thiesfeldt attended the party’s annual convention in
Milwaukee this past weekend and says the party is energized and ready to spread their message across the state. "You look at just in the last year we were able to have tax cuts three different times, to invest an additional $35 million in the Fast Forward program to match people's skills and get them into the workforce, unemployment is down and we have the largest rainy day fund we've ever had," Thiesfeldt told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program. Meanwhile Thiesfeldt was one of 50 GOP state representatives
who signed a letter urging convention delegates to vote against a resolution affirming
the state’s right to secede from the union. Thiesfeldt says the resolution was a distraction.
