5-3-14 madison stabbing suspect shot by police

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Police have shot and seriously wounded a suspect in the stabbings of three people in a Madison apartment. Police spokesman Joel DeSpain says the suspect has been taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He says two of the people who were stabbed this afternoon have died and the third is in stable condition at a hospital.
