National Exchange Bank & Trust will host the 30th Annual Petting Zoo on Saturday, May 31, from 9 – 11 a.m. at the 130 South Main St. office of National Exchange
Bank & Trust in Fond du Lac. This
free community appreciation event is open to the public. In celebration
of Wisconsin’s dairy industry, the petting zoo will feature a variety
of farm animals, pony rides,
dairy games and prizes, a chance to practice milking, face painting
($1.00) and more. A sampling of Wisconsin’s finest dairy products will
be available including Gilles Custard, several cheese varieties, butter
popcorn, Go-Gurts and Milk Chugs. Entertainment
for the day will include two performances by Mr. Billy at 9:15 and
10:15 a.m. Featured this year the Ultimate WI Ice Cream Sundae
Competition. Four local 4-H
clubs will participate in the competition, which starts at 10:00 a.m.
and will be judged by Alice in Dairyland, Kristin Olson. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to bring their cameras. Please leave your dogs/pets at home.
