7-10-13 new book on the holyland

Fond du Lac county officials say it’s a way to promote the tiny communities in Fond du lac County that are part of what’s known as the Holyland and to promote the region’s rich history.  The Fond du lac County Finance Committee approved a resolution at their meeting Tuesday evening to appropriate funds for a reprint of the book Breaking Bread in the Holyland.  County Executive Al Buechel says the estimated $2500 cost to reprint the 46 page book will be split between Fond du lac and Calumet counties and the books will be available to the public for free.
