7-1-13 serious injury motorcycle vs. suv accident

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a motor vehicle traffic crash with serious injuries.  They were assisted at the scene by Juneau Police, Clyman Fire and First Responders, Juneau EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Flight For Life, and DCERT.  At 5:06 PM Dodge County Communications received a report of a multiple-vehicle crash with injuries on STH 26 near Hogsback Rd in the Township of Clyman.  The crash involved an SUV and a motorcycle.  Both subjects on the motorcycle were injured, one of which was serious/critical and flown by Flight For Life.  The other was transported by ambulance to Beaver Dam Community Hospital.  The occupants of the SUV were not injured.   The crash is under investigation by the Crash Investigation Team (CIT).  Initial investigation shows the crash occurred during passing maneuvers.  Neither of the cycle occupants was wearing a helmet.
