After below normal temperatures so far this spring…a change
in the weather pattern is in store for this week and with that
change comes the first good chance for severe weather this season. National Weather Service meteorologist Bob McMahon says there is a chance for thunderstorms Tuesday night through Friday…with the best chance for severe weather late Thursday afternoon and evening. "A cold front pushes in from the west and that's when we really see a chance for a line of strong to possibly severe storms crossing the state," McMahon told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program. "...Thursday afternoon and evening. Late afternoon for eastern portions of the state including Fond du Lac." McMahon says it hasn’t been much of a spring so far with
below normal temperatures and above normal precipitation. But that is changing this week.
