Fond du Lac County is on a record pace when it comes to the
fewest number of traffic fatalities.
Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says there have been zero traffic fatalities on Fond du Lac County roadways so far this year. Olig says that hasn't happened since at least 1978, the last year that records were available. Olig says one factor may be the unusually long winter
weather that may have reduced traffic on area roads. Olig says he’s crossing his finger the trend continues.
