5-17-14 memorial day closures-city of fdl

City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2014 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.  The Municipal Service Center will also be closed on May 26^th for all services, including refuse and recycling collection and bulky waste drop off. There will be no refuse and recycling collection on Monday, May 26^th. Refuse and recycling normally collected on Monday will be collected on Tuesday, May 27^th with the normal Tuesday collection. Although, yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours.  The Senior Center and Fond du Lac Public Library will both be closed on May 26^th, resuming regular hours on May 27^th.  City Transit Buses will not operate on May 26^th, but will resume regular routes on May 27^th.  As always, Police and Fire Departments will be fully operational throughout the holiday period.
