Area law enforcement agencies are stepping up enforcement this month in an effort to get people to wear their seatbelts. The Click it or Ticket campaign begins Monday and runs through June first. Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says last year in Fond du Lac
County one third of the drivers and passengers killed in a crash were not
buckled up. Olig says the coordinated effort to crackdown on unbuckled
motorists will also target aggressive and intoxicated drivers.
