An
18 year old man was seriously injured in an ATV accident in Fond
du Lac. Rescue personnel were called to
the scene about 3pm
Saturday at the City's ATV Park located southwest of Highway
41 and Hickory Street. Upon
arrival paramedics located an 18 year-old man who sustained serious
injuries when he fell from his ATV. Due
to the extent of his
injuries Flight For Life Helicopter was called to the scene. A
landing zone was established in a parking lot nearby. Paramedics
utilized
the Fire Department's 6-wheel ATV Medical Unit to transport the patient
from the remote area in the park to the awaiting helicopter. The
patient was transported to a nearby trauma center to be treated for his injures.
