GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — A 10-year-old boy from Kenosha hopes to defend his half-marathon record this weekend. Noah Bliss started long-distance running about two years ago. His run in an event earlier this month is the fastest on record for his age group as tracked by the Association of Road Racing Statisticians. He ran 13.1 miles in 1 hour, 37 minutes and 15 seconds. Bliss will run in the Cellcom Green Bay Half Marathon on Sunday despite runners who are usually at least 14 years old. He tells Press-Gazette Media he's just happy he'll get to run through Lambeau Field. An estimated 6,000 people will run the half-marathon this weekend. Nearly 2,000 more people will run in the full marathon. That's the biggest event in the state behind the Milwaukee Lakefront run.
