5-13-14 record rain

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Recent heavy rains broke records in Green Bay and Appleton. The National Weather Service says Green Bay received 1.05 inches of rain yesterday, which breaks the record of .88 inches set in 1924. Appleton also broke a long-standing record with 2.15 inches recorded yesterday. The old record of 1.76 inches was set in 1942.
