5-2-14 fire at model cleaners in fdl

Nobody was injured in a fire at a Fond du Lac dry cleaning business.  Firefighters were called to Model Cleaners at the corner of Forest Avenue and Macy Street Thursday afternoon.  Fire chief Pete O’Leary tells WFDL news on the scene the building was evacuated and crews worked to quickly extinguish the fire.

O’Leary says the preliminary indication is that a lint build-up in one of the dryers may have started the fire.
