Sled dog teams from
throughout the midwest will be converging on Fond du Lac this weekend for
the annual Can’t Depend on Snow sled dog race. For the second year in a row Fond du lac’s Jeanna Giese will
be participating with her three Siberian huskies. Jeanna became famous nine years ago when she became the
first person to survive rabies after getting the vaccine after developing
the virus. The Can’t Depend on Snow sled dog race starts at 10am
Saturday at Rolling Meadows Golf course. All the
proceeds go to the Make a Wish Foundation.
