1-8-14 sales tax holiday
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wal-Mart Stores and Apple are lobbying in support of a bill that would waive sales taxes on purchases of some computers, back-to-school supplies and Energy Star products one weekend a year. Supporters of the Republican-backed measure say it will stimulate sales and draw people to stores on the designated weekends in August and November.
