1-30-14 sentence handed down in starving case

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A judge has sentenced a Wisconsin father convicted of keeping his teenage daughter in the basement and starving her down to 68 pounds to 5 years in prison. The Associated Press generally does not name potential victims of sexual assault and isn't naming anyone in the family to avoid identifying the girl.
