The National Weather Service says this winter is shaping up
to be one of the coldest on record. Meteorologist Sarah Marquardt says windchills Tuesday morning are expected to be in the -30
to 40 below
zero range. Marquardt
says when its this cold it take only minutes for frostbite to occur on exposed skin.
Marquardt says even though high temps are expected to rise
into the upper teens or near 20 starting Thursday and through the
weekend…bitter cold is expected to return early next week. She says there is nothing in the forecast to indicate
the arctic cold will lessen its grip on Wisconsin anytime soon.
