1-27-14 no injuries in two separate weekend fires

At approximately 2:48 pm, the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a call of a structure fire at N7126 Spruce Drive, located in the Town of Fond du Lac.  The structure was a residential mobile home and is considered a total loss. No one was home at the time of the fire.  Responding to the fire were the Town of Fond du Lac, Van Dyne, Village of North Fond du Lac, and Town of Lamartine Fire Departments.  The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office also responded and was assisted by North Fond du Lac Police Department. No one was injured and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

At approximately 3:34 pm, the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a call of structure fire at W2642 CTH HH, located in the Town of Calumet.  The structure was a pole shed style building approximately 40’ by 60’ and is considered a total loss along with its contents.  Responding to the fire were the Town of Calumet, Mt. Calvary, Town of Fond du Lac, and Village of Stockbridge Fire Departments.  No one was injured and the cause of the fire was determined to be electrical in nature.
