1-31-14 working seven days straight

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Democrat on the state Senate's labor committee says a Republican bill that would allow factory and retail employees to volunteer to work seven straight days will lead to bosses scaring workers into giving up their weekends. The bill's main author, Senator Glenn Grothman, developed the measure with help from Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, the state's largest business group. The labor committee held a hearing on the measure today.
