A Plymouth woman charged in connection with a fatal crash on Highway 23 east of Fond du Lac has been convicted. Fifty one year old Laurie Garcia pleaded no contest in Fond
du Lac County Circuit Court Wednesday to homicide by negligient Operation of a motor vehicle. She is accused of causing a crash when she was passing vehicles, causing an oncoming car to take
evasive action. The August 14th crash killed
Kathleen Fee of Fond du lac. Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says Garcia was later arrested
on Highway 151 and initially told officers she was unaware of the accident
she allegedly caused. A sentencing hearing
is scheduled for March 5th .
