9-18-13 crossbow hunting-part one

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Republican bill that would bar local governments from restricting bow and crossbow hunting has passed the state Senate and is on its way to Gov. Scott Walker. State law currently prohibits local governments from restricting hunting, fishing and trapping unless the prohibition furthers public health and safety. The new measure would expand that prohibition to include bow and crossbow hunting.
