The Waupun fire chief is thanking a local business for
helping the fire department train.
Fire chief Jeff Berry says Werner Harmsen funeral home was generous to allow the department to conduct a training session in a house that is scheduled for
demolition for a parking lot. Berry says two entry teams were able to use the vacant house
to conduct search and rescue exercizes, setting up smoke machines to
simulate fire conditions.
