Local law enforcment is reminding motorists be on the
lookout for deer. Fond du lac County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Bill Tadych says
car-deer collisions spike during the deer mating season in October and November. Tadych says the key is to be alert, scanning the sides of
the road and slowing down on some of the rural roads…especially at dusk. Last year there were nearly 19,000 deer-car crashes reported
statewide.
