1-6-14 fdl armed robbery

On January 05, 2014 at 12:49 A.M. Fond du Lac Police Department officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at Speedway, 550 W Johnson St.  Responding officers were advised by an employee that a male subject entered the store, implied he had a weapon and demanded cash.  After the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money, he was last seen fleeing on foot out a door on the north side of the business.   The suspect is described as a white male (possibly in his 50’s or 60’s) wearing a green coat, winter hat, glasses, and tan pants.  No one was injured during the incident.  Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Fond du Lac Police Department at 920-906-5555 or the Crime Alert number at 920-322-3740.
