1-17-14 vinehout won't run for governor

ALMA, Wis. (AP) — State Senator Kathleen Vinehout says she won't seek the Democratic nomination for governor. Vinehout says the severity of the injury she received in a car accident last month makes it impossible to mount a grass roots campaign. Vinehout's decision leaves former Trek Bicycle executive Mary Burke as the only likely Democrat to challenge Republican Governor Scott Walker in November.
