Fond du lac’s Mercury Marine and the U.S. Army are teaming
up in a new recruiting
program. Merc and Army representatives signed an agreement Wednesday afternoon aimed at providing priority
hiring status to qualified soldiers participating in the Amery’s Partnership
for Youth Success program. On AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program Merc Human Resources Director, Kurt Langel, says under the
agreement Merc agrees to reserve future interview opportunities in exchange for
trained U.S Army veterans. The Army agrees to pre-qualify, train and provide honorably
discharged veterans.
