9-2-13 train-pedestrian fatality in dodge county

Authorities say a 61-year-old woman is dead after she was hit by a train in Lowell.  The Dodge County Sheriff's Department says Juanita Payton was walking her two dogs Saturday morning when she was struck by a train that was heading southbound on the tracks. It happened at the intersection of Blackbird and Chapel Roads.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her two dogs also died.
