9-17-13 child passenger safety week

The state Triple A is reminding residents to make sure their child is properly restrained in a child safety seat.  AAA spokesperson  Pam Moen says this week has been designated Child Passenger Safety Week.  Moen says according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration,  child safety seats reduce the risk of fatal injury by 71 percent for infants and 54 percent for toddlers in passenger cars.
