9-4-13 train-pedestrian fatality victim may have been talking on cell phone

The Dodge County Sheriff says an preliminary investigation shows a  Dodge County woman may have been talking on a cell phone when she was struck and killed by a train over the weekend.
Sheriff  Pat Ninmann tells WFDL news 61 year old Juanita Payton was walking her two dogs on the tracks in Lowell Saturday when the accident occurred.  "We believe she may have been on the phone.  We're hoping for some video later in the week that will give a true picture as to what happened prior to her being struck,"  Ninmann said.  "Just a very tragic incident for the family and everybody involved."   Ninmann says it appears the train’s horn was sounding frequently prior to impact.
