The public is invited to a community discussion on
immigration reform. The group United for Diversity is hosting the event at the
Fond du Lac Public Library Monday night. United for Diversity board member, Tracy Abler, says Fond du
lac residents may be surprised to learn how many undocumented individuals
live in the Fond du Lac area. Abler says the meeting is open to the public, but Hispanic
and other immigrants are especially invited to attend, as well as teachers,
employers, farmers and anybody with a personal interest in the issue. The meeting starts at 6:00 pm in the McClane Room at the library.
