A Fond du Lac man accused of causing life threatening head
injuries to his infant son has been charged with child abuse. Twenty one year old Sebastian Doern is free on a $25,000
signature bond
According to a criminal complaint Doern admitted to grabbing
the seven month old boy by the ankles with one hand and tossing him to the ground. The child is being
treated at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee with skull fractures and bleeding on the brain. Doctors also say they found evidence of two older rib fractures and multiple bruises on the baby’s
body. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 10th.
