11-13-13 pioneer road rr underpass open

new railroad underpass in
Fond du lac is officially opening to traffic. A ribbon cutting and monument dedication ceremony was held Tuesday afternoon for the
Pioneer Road project. Highway Commissioner Tom Jahnke says the monument is
dedicated to former Highway Department employee Dennis Roesler who was killed in
a Highway 41 construction zone several years ago. Jahnke says the underpass and roundabouts at Morris and
Hickory Streets will enable traffic to flow more smoothly and safely.
