11-19-13 town of fdl votes to restrict rifle use during gun-deer hunt

The town of Fond du Lac has voted to restrict rifle use during the upcoming gun-deer season.   Town chairman Harold Manske says there are too many subdivisions and dense populations to allow rifles.  The vote last week to ban rifle use during the deer hunt was unanimous.  A new DNR rule allows the use of rifles statewide, unless local municipalities take action on their own.
