An explosion and fire at an Alliant Energy substation has
caused a power outage on the southeast side of Fond du Lac. Fire chief Pete O’Leary says the incident happened around 9am Tuesday at the
substation off Rienzi Road east of National Avenue. Alliant crews are working to restore power.
