11-13-13 waupun bomb threat spree

What started out as a bomb threat at the Waupun Culver’s restaurant has turned into a rash of similar threats at Waupun area businesses.  Waupun police chief Dale Heeringa says in addition to the threat at Culver’s Sunday night police have responded to four similar bomb threats in the past 48 hours at McDonald's, Pizza Ranch, Kwik Trip and Family Video.   Chief Heeringa says these threats are viewed by law enforcement as a serious felony.  He says the threats are already causing uneasiness in the community.  Police are offering a $200 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.
