Fond du Lac police are looking for the suspect in an
unsuccessful attempted armed robbery of a gas station- convenience store. Assistant Police chief Steve Klein says the incident happened shortly before midnight Saturday night at the Q
Mart on West Johnson and North Main Streets. Klein tells WFDL news the clerk refused to give the man money and the suspect fled the store on foot. Klein says officers were able to track the suspect’s foot
prints in the snow across the street to the Family Video parking lot where it appears the suspect
got into a vehicle and left the area. The suspect is described as a white male, in his teens or
early 20s, wearing a gray and red winter overcoat with a hooded sweatshirt and
jeans.
