A new trial date is expected to be scheduled after a Fond du
lac judge declared a mistrial in the case of a Crandon man
charged with robbery .
Courtney Shelly was on trial in Fond du lac County Circuit Court this week on a charge of robbery with use of
force. Judge Dale English declared a mistrial after a witness
testified about evidence the judge ruled at a motion hearing would not be admissable at trial.
Shelly is accused of attacking a woman on East Cotton Street, stealing her purse and cellphone.
