2-18-14 two republican lawmakers will not seek re-election

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Two more Republican state Assembly members say they will not be seeking re-election.   Rep. John Klenke, of Green Bay, announced Monday that he will not be running for a third term. Last week Rep. Mary Williams, of Medford said she would be retiring after 12 years in the Legislature.   Their announcements bring to six the number of representatives who are not running for re-election. Five of them are Republicans. An additional five are running for a different office and won't be returning.   Republican Rep. Dean Kaufert is running for mayor of Neenah and has said he will give up his seat if he wins.  Republicans currently hold a 60-39 majority in the Assembly.
