2-17-14 fire heavily damages home of fdl councilmember

Nobody was injured a fire that caused extensive damage to a Fond du lac home.   Fire chief Pete O’Leary says firefighters were called to the scene at 261 3^rd Street shortly before noon Monday.  It’s the home of councilmember Dan Manning.  Chief O’Leary tells WFDL news on the scene the homeowner said he had replaced a light fixture about an hour before he noticed the fire.
