11-7-13 weather may have played a role in fatal motorcycle accident

The investigation into a fatal motorcycle-car accident in Fond du Lac continues but weather appears to be a factor.  Sheriff’s Captain Rick Olig says the accident happened when it was dark and raining.
Olig says it appears 77 year old Ronald Stiemsma of Oshkosh was traveling back home when for some reason he veered across the center line on Highway 45.   "Both southbound drivers commented that with the rain it was a little bit difficult to see.  The car driver involved said she had braked because she thought he was in her lane,"  Olig told WFDL news.  "So she started to brake and all of the sudden he was right in front of her vehicle."
