11-6-13 false alarm at fdl apartment complex

Residents of a Fond du lac apartment complex were evacuated for a short period of time Tuesday afternoon after a report of a possible fire on the roof of the building.  Firefighters and rescue personnel were called to the Countryside apartments on Security Drive.  Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says

what some residents thought was smoke from a dryer vent was actually steam.
