11-5-13 waupun fire deparment food drive

 

The Waupun Fire Department hosted their 5^th annual Food Drive for the Waupun Area Food Pantry on November 2^nd.    The department raised about 5600 pounds of food and $900.00 in cash.   The firefighters then did a “Pizza Delivery-Change Your Clock Change Your Batteries” in conjunction with Pizza Ranch from 5 to 8 PM and checked smoke detectors in residents.  They repaired or installed batteries in about 20 smoke detectors installed two detectors and gave out about 75 batteries.
