11-14-13 police have person of interest in bomb threat spree
WFDL news has learned Waupun police have a person of interest in
connection with a rash of bomb threats phoned in to area businesses and the
Waupun Junior-senior High School.
Waupun Deputy Police Chief Scott Louden says the state Department of Criminal Investigation is
assisting Waupun police and have obtained a search warrant to examine phone records
of the person of interest. Louden says the state Department of Criminal Investigation
is assisting Waupun police. Louden says he is hopeful the investigation will end with an
arrest shortly. Louden says the reward money has been upped to $400. There have been at least 11 bomb threats made in the Waupun
area and additional threats in Beaver Dam and Fox Lake.
