11-12-13 manitowac county man dies from injuries in tree-cutting accident

TOWN OF FRANKLIN, Wis. (AP) — A Manitowoc County man who was injured in a tree-cutting accident over the weekend has died. A WOMT-AM report says 73-year old Lee Fischer was cutting down a tree Saturday when part of the tree fell on him. The Whitelaw man was taken to a hospital, where he died. Autopsy results released Monday say he had injuries to his chest and spinal cord. No foul play is suspected.
