Due to the extreme cold temperatures and deep frost
levels the Village Utility Department is recommending village residents run a
small, pencil lead-sized stream of water (not dripping) from one faucet
during times when water is not consistently being used. For most residents this is during the
overnight hours. Property owners are being advised to monitor
piping inside their houses and take extra proper precautions if necessary.
Utility bills for this quarter will be adjusted so
that there is no extra cost to residents.
